Acne - Step 2: Using Acne Face Cream

April 26th, 2008

After you have washed your face with a chemical free soap, use an applicator to dip into Scotty’s face cream or you favorite face cream. Place the cream on your face and spread it all around. Massage the cream into your face gently so the skin absorbs the oils in this cream.

These oils will seal the pores and hold the natural moisture of the skin and enhance the curing effects of the cream

You can use the cream 2-3 times a day. It is best to use it after you have cleaned your face in the morning and right before you go to bed. You can also use it during noontime.

You can use Scotty’s’ cream under your makeup or over your makeup. It will work either way. However, it will work better on a clean face.

You will notice that when you apply the cream it will tingle in areas without sores and may sting in areas of open sores. This will pass and as it does it should reduce the itchiness of any sores.

Scotty’s cream has allantoin, which will help to clear acne sores. The oils, vitamin A and E, and minerals in Scotty’s will help to feed, rebuild, and rejuvenate your skin. The minerals also help to neutralize the toxic acids that have contaminated and inflamed pores on your face.

During cleansing and fasting, more acid waste may come out of your pores. This is why Scotty’s cream will help you to reduce the inflammation and spread your acne.

Tree Tea Oil

To make Scotty’s cream or your own cream even more powerful, you can add 5-10 drops of pure tree tea oil to a two-ounce container. You can experiment with the amount to add. You may want to add more drops to provide more tea tree oil for your face. But, do not use more than 15 drops.

Tree tea oil has been found to be effective in various skin disorders. It acts as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial. This oil helps to bring oxygen to the skin cell, which kills bacteria and fungus and helps to repair damaged skin caused by acne.

Borage Oil

There is one more thing that you can add to Scotty’s face cream or your favorite acne cream that will boost its acne clearing power. This is borage oil. Borage oil contains EPA and DHA, which helps to control excessive hormones that cause the over production of sebum.

It is the adrenal glands that produce streams of androgens during puberty. These large quantities of androgens help to activate bone growth and assist in bringing forth sexual maturity.

A side effect of these androgens is the release of excess oil from the oil glands near the hair follicle. This excess gives rise to

black heads
white heads
pimples
cysts

So here’s what you can do to make your face cream even more effective,

Mix one or two capsules of Borage oil into your cream
Do this by cutting the tip off of the Borage oil softgel and squeeze the oil into the cream

There is a new form of EPA and DHA that is available in a product called Neptune Krill Oil (NKO)

Neptune Krill Oil (NKO)

NKO is the new EPA and DHA product, which maybe better to use than Borage Oil. NKO has the omega-3, EPA and DHA in the phospholipid form, which is easier for your cells to absorb compared with Borage oil. Borage oil contains the omega-3, EPA, and DHA in triglyceride form, which is more difficult for cells to absorb.

One other good property of NKO is that is does not have to be refrigerated like Borage. It can be kept in a cool place in your cabinets. However, it does cost more than Borage oil.

Word of Caution: As with all creams and oils, if you get any rash or skin reactions when using them, discontinue their use.

Use a good face cream to help clear your acne. You can boost the power of this cream by adding tree tea oil and borage or NKO oil.

Search Engines: The Life Blood of Internet-Based Home Businesses

April 25th, 2008

Anyone involved in an Internet-based home business will soon
come to recognize the importance of search engines as a vehicle
to attract potential customers.

Since the inception of Google in 1998, the popularity of using
search engines has increased dramatically. Nielsen NetRatings
reports that about 114.5 million Americans, or a whopping 39
percent of the US population, currently use search engines.

Through February of 2004, Yahoo and Microsoft’s MSN ranked as
the two favorite spots on the Internet with 87.3 million and
86.2 million unique monthly visitors, respectively, according to
figures produced by Nielsen NetRatings.

Microsoft.com, ranked third, with 64.2 million visitors, but
this figure is somewhat misleading because this site attracts
much of its traffic by repairing flaws in the Windows operating
system. Google was the fourth most popular site with 60.8
million visitors.

The market shares of MSN and Yahoo haven’t changed much in the
past three years while Google has emerged as a powerhouse
without spending much of anything on advertising. Google’s
audience is now approximately six times larger than it was in
early 2001, when it was the 26th most popular destination on the
Internet.

As they vie for position, Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft plan to
continue upgrading their services - healthy competition that can
only serve to improve the search experiences of Internet users
in the future.

According to comScore Networks, an estimated 3.5 billion online
searches are performed in the United States each month, making
searching the second most popular online activity, ranking
behind only e-mail.

In 2003, businesses spent an estimated $2 billion on advertising
related to searches and some knowledgeable sources expect the
search-related advertising market to triple during the next
three years.

There are various search engine formats including natural
search, pay for inclusion (PFI), pay per click (PPC), and hybrid
approaches which combine both PFI and PPC characteristics.
Because of the immense and growing popularity of search engines,
their effective utilization is the life blood of Internet-based
home businesses.

The Planets Most Excellent Marital Toy Survey for Sexy Couples to Experiment with

April 25th, 2008

So sexy toy are on the lips of every girl these days, either nattering on about them in the toilet, at the work kitchen or on the television. But which sexy toy is the super duper, with the large choice to select from surely someone had to find out the best one.

A new adult toy site asked over 110 ladies in April what their top sexy toy was along with other personal questions.

If you love sex toys you should try out Sex Toys for Her

It was identified that the most top sexy toy for ladies was the vibrator, and they just loved it! Girls were so excited by the idea of a massive vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best kinds of vibrator were the rabbit vibrators as they help to stimulate the clit hood as well as inserting into the flower.

The 2nd most popular sexy toy was the exciting dong. Dildos are similar to vibrators except they do not have batteries or vibrate. Dildos come in all shapes and sizes from eight inches to twelve inches. They can come with sucker cups to have a tremendous experience hands free and can easily attach to a bath or toilet set. Dildos have been a firm top seller since the 90s and looks like they will be around for a long time.

So it was decided that the vibrator was the winner and the dildo came in second place, with some many sex toys out there it was difficult to know which type of vibrator was the most exciting for women to try. The standard vibrator sex toys are battery powered and shaped like a guys penis. Standard vibrator sex toys are shaped just like the real thing and use batteries for power. They can be made of plastic, vinyl metal or silicone. They can either be slipped in or placed against your vagina to get the sensation. We stock a wide range of standard vibrator sex toys.

The nicest way to use standard vibrator sex toys is to make sure it is germ free before use, make sure it is not too large for your vagina, and also make sure that you do not use it every Sunday night and you do venture out on a date to the circus.

Acupressure

April 24th, 2008

Developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago, acupressure is an ancient healing therapy that utilizes fingers to depress key locations on the skin’s surface to prompt healing withing the body. Similar to acupuncture, acupressure uses the same reference points on the body that release muscular stress; thus encouraging better blood circulation.

Acupressure is very beneficial as it can relieve pain and bring the body back into harmonious balance. Acupressure’s healing ability promotes stress reduction, improves circulation, relaxes the body and strengthens the immune system. Acupressure can effectively be used to alleviate acute and chronic conditions such as arthritis, headaches, spinal-muscular pain, and sinus complications. Also a preventative therapy, acupressure is good for fatigue as well. Overall, acupressure is an excellent healing therapy for whole well-being — mind, body and spirit.

Two techniques of acupressure are the “Shiatsu,” and the “Jin Shin.” Shiatsu acupressure, the most commonly used therapy, is notated for its vigorous and firm pressure application; while, the Jin Shin acupressure technique is a more gentle form — whereby points are softly held for a moment or two. A typical acupressure session is done in a relaxing environment and does not require removal of the client’s clothing. If you or someone you know is seeking an alternative method of healing, we have a selection of accredited acupressure therapists from which to choose at Holistic Junction.

Automated Link Management

April 24th, 2008

Link popularity is an important part of any search engine optimization or traffic building campaign. Having relevant backlinks to your website from other authority websites in your chosen keyword space is essential to achieve good rankings with the search engines. In many cases you will find that webmaster’s require a link back to their website from your website before adding your URL to their links page.

If you currently update your links manually each time you have a link request or exchange to perform then you already know how much of a nightmare this can be. The use of an Automated Link Management system alleviates the pain of link building while providing a valuable resource to your website visitors.

Automating your Link Management

  1. Purchase or find Link Management Software
  2. Download link management software to your local hard drive.
  3. Read the documentation included with the software package.
  4. Create an empty MySQL database and user on your webserver. If you are unfamiliar with MySQL databases and/or you do not have a control panel from which you can create MySQL databases consider downloading and installing PHPMyAdmin.
  5. Edit any configuration files or scripts to include the database information from step 3 if required.
  6. Upload package files and scripts to a folder on your webserver. Name this folder; directory, resources or partners.
  7. Edit file permissions on any files or scripts that require it. See your documentation for a list of files. Normally you will need to make some of the scripts or directories in the package “writable”.
  8. Run the installation script for your link management software and supply any required information. If you were not required to add your database information to one of the configuration files in step 5 you will need to enter it when prompted.
  9. Log in to the “admin” panel for your new link management system and add 20-30 categories which are closely related to your website topic.
  10. Edit the “look and feel” of your new directory to match the rest of your website.
  11. Place a link to your directory on your home page and interior pages of your website.

You now have an automated link management system installed and linked to your homepage.

Ready for Christmas? Enjoy an Organized Holiday This Year

April 24th, 2008

1. Keep a stack of directions TO your place for people who need to know how to get to your home or office. This prevents you from having to write them out every time you are asked. Type the directions and save them on your computer. This way you can email, fax, or mail them the directions. Make copies and keep them accessible. It is also helpful to keep directions FROM your place for future visits you need to make.

2. Rather than add to someone else’s clutter with a gift you are not sure they would like, give ‘consumable’ items for Christmas such as: special coffees or teas, cookies, or gift certificates.

3. Keep a Christmas idea file. Keep a folder and insert recipes, magazine clippings, gift ideas, and other ideas you might like to use for the holiday.

4. A COUNTDOWN is super effective for any event such as weddings, holidays, and parties. Start by creating a master to-do list of everything that needs to be done for your special event. Then, transfer a couple of to-dos onto each day preceding your event. Cross off items when finished!

5. AVOID shopping during busy times like the weekend and after-work. Shop online, by catalog, or in an area with several stores-in order to consolidate your shopping trips. Ask for gift-wrapping!

6. Spend your time on what you LOVE to do. If you love socializing, why waste your time cooking? Order from your favorite restaurant. If you hate decorating, hire an interior decorator or an art student. Exchange tasks with friends.

7. Pack your decorations away with care. Do not throw everything in a box. Take time to pack fragile items carefully. Store your decorations and lights in proper containers. Inventory what you have with a list and a list for what you need next year. LABEL all of your boxes!

The Best Custom Jeans

April 23rd, 2008

The staple of everyone’s wardrobe. There is a statistic that states that at any given time most people have at least eight pairs of jeans in their closet. Living and working in Los Angeles offers the option of going to work in jeans. I know that I am one of the people listed in that statistic. I have several different brands of jeans but here are the ones that I have found to be most useful. When choosing a pair of jeans you should be able to find a few pairs of everyday jeans that go with pretty much anything and can be used for most occasions. Also you are going to want a few pairs that are slightly more dressy for the nicer occasions and for more upscale bars and clubs.

For your everyday pairs I would recommend Abercrombie & Fitch. They tend to carry stylish jeans and have several choices in cut for your particular build and personal style. They have many different colors and washes in each cut of jean and can generally outfit anyone’s taste. Their jeans are reasonably priced and can be matched with most clothes and shoes.

As far as dressy jeans go there are many choices. I am always wary of buying jeans that come from companies who don’t specialize in jeans. Some of the choices that I would recommend are Diesel, Seven and Ben Sherman. These jeans tend to be more expensive and will probably run in the neighborhood of $200 a pair. Since these are nicer brands they are worth the money but make sure to try on several different designers before you make you choice. Once you have a pair of jeans that you like make sure that they will work with your wardrobe before buying them. If you are going to spend a lot on one pair of jeans you want to make sure they work with a lot of your wardrobe and will be worn often.

Dog Behavior - Our Two Australian Shepherd Puppies And The White Couch

April 22nd, 2008

I had heard about a Sunday evening spiritual gathering in my neighborhood and was curious to go and make some new friends. My husband and son decided to stay home so I went along looking forward to a quiet evening with like-minded folks. I arrived right on time and was greeted by my gracious hostess. As I entered the lovely living room, I actually screamed when I saw it! A pristine, white couch! The couple’s Persian rugs still had all the fringe and the rungs on their wooden chairs were without bite marks. Their woodwork had no scratches or mud spatters and their screen door was still in tact! Right then and there I made the decision; these people could not survive one minute in my house.

That’s because the day our two Australian Shepherd puppies, Jesse and Harley, came into our lives was the day “that lived-in look” took on new meaning. Old towels now cover our kitchen wall and floor beside the newly installed “doggie door.” Our spring flowers lost their blooms to curious taste buds long ago and the grass in our large backyard has all but turned to mud.

Trying to keep Jesse and Harley off the couch is like learning to fly by jumping off a cliff. We tried our round of obedience classes and agility training. We devoured the stack of dog books written by experts who ran the gamut in their advice from throwing a rolled up magazine at the dogs to ignoring them completely. As I stare at the once matching wicker tables and couch that have been dismantled piece by piece, I literally drool with anticipation remembering that day at the dog park when I heard one lady’s hopeful story who told us her 3 year old Aussie is a couch potato and loves to sleep and take it easy! Under threat of attack to our remaining furniture, we now schedule the dogs’ daily exercise time into our day timer right beside our other appointments.

All in all, would I turn back the clock if I had it to do all over again? Would I drive right by that open gate and leave that purebred Aussie trail behind?

What would my life be like without the smile on my young son’s face as he wakes up every morning to his own furry cheerleading team? And when he stands in the living room with a handful of treats authoritatively spouting, “Sit! Now down! Come and sit! Hey, Mom, did you see that? They did it!” How could I even think of such a thing? Would I miss that sign my doorbell wears, “Don’t ring. It makes the dogs go crazy”?

As I contemplate my life this past year, I look out the French doors to what’s left of our backyard and I experience that rare moment when our puppies are lying side by side in a one-in-a-million pose with the sun gleaming on their fur and their noses tipped up to catch the cool morning breeze, and I remind myself, who needs a white couch, anyway?

Womens Hair Loss Treatment

April 22nd, 2008

Most of the modern day hair loss treatments articles and researches tend to relate almost exclusively to men. What about womens hair loss treatment ? What is the best treatment for hair loss for the female gender ? Do these same treatments offer solutions to women suffering from hair loss or is there a completely different category of remedies available?

It is up to the reasons for hair loss. In most of the cases the causes of female hair growth problems are the same as those that affect men. Therefore, womens hair loss treatment in the market are pretty similar.

The most common causes for female hair growth problems are telogen effluvium, female pattern baldness and alopecia areata. Each has its’ own recommended womens hair loss treatments.

Telogen effluvium - One of the most common causes of female hair growth problems. It usually involves a thinning of the hair because of a traumatic event like pregnancy. The womens best hair loss treatment for Telogen effluvium is time. As time goes by the effect of the traumatic event vanishes and the hair starts to regrow.

Female pattern baldness - The most common cause for female hair growth problems. It is similar to the male pattern baldness. The problem is a reaction to male hormones in the body. The best womens hair loss treatment in this case is Rogaine. Rogaine is the only FDA approved womens hair loss treatment. However, It will not work in all cases. In most cases it stops hair loss and makes female hair growth rehabilitate.
We do not recommend the use of Propecia as a treatment for womens hair loss treatmnet. Propecia is the best treatment for hair loss for men with male pattern baldness.

Alopecia areata - Characterized by bald areas over the head and other parts of the body, This phenomena is yet unrevealed. The womens hair loss treatment for this phenomena could be Rogaine, aloe vera gel or time.

This short review of womens hair loss treatment concludes the best hair loss treatments for 3 of the most common female hair growth problems.
